Jupiter Jack

Hi my name is Damon with SeenOnTVBrands.com and today I’m going to talk a little about the Jupiter Jack. We’ve all seen the infomercial with Billy Mays talking about the product and it converts any cell phone into a hands-free device using the FM radio in your car. I’m in a put to the test but before I do that. I’ll tell you a little bit about it and tell you what comes with the kit, the main part of the kit is the transmitter and what it does is picks up your voice so the caller on the other end of your call can hear you and transmits what the caller on the other end of the phone is saying through the speakers in your car stereo. What you do is set the FM band to 88.7 and that transmits any signals going through your cell phone to your car stereo.

It has a replaceable lithium battery that provides roughly 50 hours of talk time and has a 2.5 millimeter headphone jack and if the jack doesn’t actually fit your phone. The kit comes with three different adapters, and you simply plug the appropriate adapter into the Jupiter Jack. Then plug the Jupiter Jack into the headphone port of your cell phone so it really does work with any cell phone and they all have headphone jacks. As far as I’m aware I have a 3B, cheap Verizon phone and it does have a headphone jack. So I would have to assume that all cell phones do. I also know that it works with the popular iPhone and the Blackberry.

They also send a Motorola adapter. For those of you that have the Motorola phones to Jupiter Jack will work for you as well. So they really have taken the time to cover all the bases on the various cell phone applications. So there’s no need to worry if it’s going to work with your model or brand of phone, because it will. They have a Samsung adapter that is included in the kit as well. Now I’m going to take this out of the car and make a few calls and provide my personal thoughts on this product be right back.

Okay, so let’s first talk about sound quality. I had a brief conversation with my cousin and he said that I certainly sound better than when I’m speaking to him on my normal Bluetooth. I made an outgoing call to him, and then had him make an incoming call to me. Just to test it both ways, and again the sound quality was excellent. He said I sounded like I was right next door. Lastly, I took the phone and said it a good distance away from my mouth while I was in the car. As far forward as I could place my phone and the Jupiter Jack on the dashboard and the sound quality was still perfectly clear for me and for my cousin on the other end of the phone. So I would have to say as far as the general functionality and sound quality of the Jupiter Jack. I would say it’s excellent.

All in all, it works really well. I did have some concerns with the station 88.7 because I did hear some think music analysts concerned that this would bleed through my telephone call. However, this was not the case. Once the call was initiated the Jupiter Jack completely eliminated any of the think music or background buzz you would otherwise hear through your car stereo. It must utilize the signal from your cell phone as well as from the car stereo to provide the clarity. I would also like to add that it was a nice feature being able to turn up the volume on my stereo and increase my ability to hear much beyond that of my Bluetooth. There’s really no need to roll up your windows or strain to hear what your callers saying with the Jupiter Jack.

The nice thing about the Jupiter Jack is its really versatile. It comes with all the appropriate adapters, and considering many states are changing the laws with respect to cell phone use while driving your car. The ease-of-use was no problem, a child could operate it without any direction, and it worked much better and was more comfortable to use than my Bluetooth and for only 10 bucks. You just can’t beat it. The price point is so reasonable for the average user even if you can afford of Bluetooth. You really don’t need to spend $100 on a high-end Bluetooth now, because for 10 bucks the Jupiter Jack does it all. And for that reason, I am going to give the Jupiter Jack a 10 out of 10 stars on this review. They really hit the ball out of the park with this one. As far as functionality call clarity, ease-of-use and price. The Jupiter Jack is the InStyle hair iron of 2009.
