Freedom To Become An Entrepreneur

Every American has the right to start or discontinue a business, and the right to assume or incur the risk for all capital owned or borrowed to start the business. The main requirements are that the owner must have a business license, and the firm must operate within the legal limits of the law. For example, a plumber can start a business simply by securing enough capital and obtaining a business license. Most localities, however, would not issue a business license to an entrepreneur who wanted to start a brothel, a gambling hall, or similar illegal operations.
Businesspeople in America have the right to make their own decisions. There is no master plan for our economy within the law, and therefore, every business is allowed to purchase what it wants, hire and fire whomever it wishes, expand or decrease at will, and make similar decisions.

Goods and services in America are sold at a price based on supply and demand. Prices determined in a free market are a gauge for making future production plans.
Americans have the right to bargain collectively. Collective bargaining helps labor obtain fair wages and better working conditions, which in turn help build mass purchasing power and higher standards of living.
