The Dog Pedic Sleep system is meant for all breeds of dogs. But before you give us the long drawn out, “Oh my gosh, how can they expect me to buy my dog a pedic bed?” ask yourself this: how is the quality of your own life and your own health affected by your bed? Would you be nearly as healthy, happy, and energetic sleeping on cold tile or on a couple pieces of cork board. Now you may come back with, “Well, a dog is a wild animal and is conditioned to sleeping in harsh conditions.”
This would be utterly false. Domesticated dogs are hardly wild animals. Even the most hardened of domesticated breeds would not stand a chance in the true wilderness. Domesticated animals are dear friends to many of us, and their health is so important that many pet owners now carry dog health insurance.
But enough about questions regarding the “toughness” of domesticated dogs. Many breeds suffer from back and hip injuries, and nearly all dogs are challenged with arthritis relatively early in their lives. If providing a pedic pet bed for your dog may help his or her happiness, think just for a second on what your dog provides for you and your family in regards of happiness.
