Whether you are a man or woman, who doesn’t want an easier way to remove unwanted hair? Even with a large number of hair removal products available, there are drawbacks to each one. There are razors that can cut and burn, lotions and sprays that can irritate skin with their chemicals and hot wax that painfully rips hair out.
There is an easier way for removing unwanted hair. Smooth Away claims to remove hair in seconds without any pain or chemicals.
Smooth Away is a device that uses pads with tiny crystals to “smooth away” hair. It can be used anywhere on the body and is safe for both men and women. The product is safe for use on sensitive skin too.
Usually package contains two sizes of applicators and large and small replacement pads for them.
To start, skin should be washed and dried thoroughly. Use Smooth Away after applying the correct sized pad to the right sized applicator by rubbing gently on skin in a circular patter, three times clockwise, three times counterclockwise and repeat until hair is removed. Your skin is exfoliated while the hair is being removed.
Remove hair at least at a quarter inch in length. Shorter hair is easier to remove than longer. If hair is longer than a quarter inch, then try shaving first and then using the buffing system a few days later.
Skin should be completely dry for this hair removal system to work optimally. Therefore, hair removal after a shower is not recommended. A dusting of powder is useful if body is wet.
Use smaller pad and applicator for small areas such as ankles, bikini line, upper lip, and other hard to access areas. The small hair removal applicator is perfect for the knee area or other bony areas like the shins also.
Simply peel the backing from a small buffing pad and attach to the applicator. Pull skin slightly tight, apply hair removal tool to area, and gently move in small circles a few times one way and then reverse direction. The small applicator is usually used in more sensitive body areas so lighter pressure can be assured.
The large applicator is made for general hair removal on larger mostly flat areas of the body such as the legs, arms, chest and back. The small applicator is for more curved or uneven surfaces such as the knees, ankles or face.
Buff the large areas like the legs, with the larger Smooth Away pad. Use the same method as with the smaller hair removal tool.
For remaining hair, go over area again with the smaller buffer. Do not rub or press too hard otherwise this can cause skin irritation.
Now the questions is how quickly does the hair grow after using Smooth Away.
This depends mostly on your hair growth (i.e. coarseness, amount, etc). As you continue to use Smooth Away to remove your hair, it will grow back less each time.
Smooth Away can be used every day or after a day – just remember to use a gentle touch in clockwise and counter-clockwise motions.
This will depend on the amount of the hair. On average, one pad will last long enough to use on a woman’s legs twice before it needs to be replaced.
Use it on shorter hair, although it also works on regular and long hair effectively. If the hair has grown quite long, first time trimming is recommended then.
Tips and warnings about Smooth Away:
When removing hair from legs; use the small buffer after the big one with a slightly firmer pressure to remove remaining stubble.
Natural powders should be used instead of baby powder.
Because this product exfoliates the skin while removing hair; it leaves the skin much smoother feeling than by shaving without any pain.
On sensitive areas such as the face or underarms; try the tool on a small area and wait to see if there is any reaction.
Some people’s body skin will be far too sensitive to use Smooth Away. This product is not for anyone with eczema or other skin conditions.
